Warm welcome!

This weekend my sister's best friend and her little sister are coming to stay with me. They both are running in the Disney Princess Half Marathon on Sunday. Big snaps to them!

I thought I'd make their stay a happy one with a basket full of snacks, treats and magazines. And of course a little welcome sign on the chalkboard :)

P.S. I made the chalkboard and it was very simple. I bought the frame at Michaels as well as the chalkboard spray. Lay down some newspapers or paper outside and take out the glass part of the frame, lay it on the papers and spray, following the directions on the can. Let it dry 24 hours, put it back in the frame and voila! My mom the cute table runner for me. I love the greek key fabric! Click for a close up view.

Spring is on its way! I can't wait for sundress weather, gorgeous flowers and sandals.

Preppy 101 has completely outdone herself and deserves the title of Ms. Pink and Green Queen of the Year, for sure! Is she fabulous or what? I couldn't stop grinning for an entire weekend because I was so enamored with my pink pretties. A hundred million thousand thanks to the extremely generous Preppy 101!!!! She is just the best.

Happy Pink and Green Thursday!

Happy Thursday! This week I am participating in the lovely Trish's Pink and Green Thursday fun.

I have a few pretties to share with you! Last week for work I attended the PGA Show and got to visit with a few of my favorite vendors. My assignment was to write a story on the latest equipment (how about pink golf clubs boss? no?? j/k), but I of course made time to scope out all the prettiest, preppiest, pink and green treasures.

My favorite company year after year is Bloom Designs. It is a fabulous stationery company with the most fun, precious, adorable designs that are golf, tennis, yoga and fashion oriented. The owner Elizabeth is as sweet as can be and really has an eye for design. She was so kind to share a few products with me and I must say my desk at work is looking great! (We've featured Bloom in one of our magazines before and I'm crossing my fingers to get them in again.) Fun fun!
