Continuing on with the second part of the wedding season series, it's time to add those accessories. Some dresses may not need many accessories and some may require a whole set to make you dazzle, but whatever the case, the perfect accessories will certainly help you achieve a polished look.
I'm all about earrings. If you have a stunning pair of earrings and coordinating purse and shoes, that's sometimes all you need. Or, some outfits may call for the classic pearls or even a little (or a lot of!) bling.
It's all about accentuating what you've got going on. When I wear a bold print to a shower or event, I try to keep the jewelry to a minimum and go with a more subdued look so the print can do the talking. That's not to say that some dresses won't call for a gorgeous pair of gold dangly earrings! I'm usually all about the pearls when attending a shower, however. I tend to wear flats and carry a neutral purse as well. Many times, it's all about looking classic at these types of gatherings.
Bridal Shower or Bridesmaid Luncheon accessories
I do love a good wedding to get the chance to dress up and go all out. If I'm sticking to a solid-colored dress I'll add some bling to spice things up. I tend to coordinate with gold accessories (if it matches, of course). There's nothing like a little sparkly clutch or pair of heels to make you feel your best. This is your chance to let the accessories shine and bring your complete look up to a whole new level of wow-ness. I'll apply my makeup a bit heavier and curl my hair to finish off the glamour style I aim to achieve. After that I'm ready to dance the night away!

I actually ordered those silver bow shoes from Piperlime - I will let you know if they are cute/comfortable when they get here later this week. I've found a few pairs on Zappos and some on shoebuy as well. DSW had a good selection as well.
