Dancin' Queen

I had dance practice tonight and we started working on a new song. We're doing modern dance to "You are for Me" by Kari Jobe. It's such a beautiful song! I posted the YouTube video if you want to listen to it. I wasn't able to dance for Easter, so it felt good to get back to dance again tonight.

I had my third JL provisional meeting last night and was excited to find out that I've completed all my hours and everything. Yay! We are working on figuring out what to put on our list of choices for placement. I'm not sure what would be best for me! Did any of you Junior Leaguers have a committee you really liked being on or know what's best for someone to start out with? I'm also really excited because Saturday is our Blue Note Ball. It will be fun to dance the night away!! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. We're halfway through! :)

Just wanted you to know that I went to the library the other day and didn't see anything that caught my eye, so I searched Dixieland Sushi and read it over the weekend, it was cute! Thanks, I'll have to see about the other book also.

A good friend of my daughter is in the JL here. They are getting ready for the huge designer showhouse and she is in charge of all the parties and events surrounding the show house. It has been a lot of work, but lots of fun too. I can't wait to go see the house. Glad you are back into your dancing. Have fun at the ball. Love & blessings from NC!

hey there- just love that you love JL too :)

I'm on placement next year and am very excited about it- was on communications this year and that was good too- thought that arrangements would also be a fun committee- who wouldn't love to plan all of the meetings?!

do you have a placement advisor? I'd talk with her about skills that you'd bring or that you'd like to acquire from your placement- afterall, JL is a training organization- and go from there for inspiration!

rock it lady!
