Rejoice!

Ever since I was little, dance has always been a part of my life and I am so lucky to be able to still have dance in my life after college. I am a member of Rejoice! Dance Troupe at my church and have the privilege of dancing with some really talented girls who are beautiful on the inside and out. As a troupe, we perform at Christmas and Easter of course, and also at various community events. This past spring, we put together a whole show that had tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop dances. These girls are some of my closest friends in Orlando and I love dancing with them! The countdown is on for our the opening of our Christmas show this Friday. I can't wait!

Oh I love dance! I danced for...gosh...20 years? I don't any more because work and grad school have taken over my life, but I definitely miss it. Sometimes I go over to the dance studio in Midtown, and I pay to just take the hip hop class that night...just to do something.

Dancing is one of the best activities ever! There are 50 year old women dancing at the studio where my PD dances - and these women look like they are in their 30's!!! Honestly - I was amazed!
