Peppermint Twist


Treats to celebrate the holidays!

1. Candy Cane Cocktail by Sandra Lee
(Serves one)
1 shot vanilla
1 shot white chocolate liqueur
1 shot peppermint schnapps
Candy cane for garnish
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Add candy cane.

2. Polar Espresso by Sandra Lee
(Serves one)
1 shot espresso, cooled
1 shot white chocolate liqueur
1/2 shot peppermint schnapps
1 shot half-and-half
Whipped cream and cocoa powder for garnish
Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and pour into martini glass. Garnish with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.

3. Peppermint Chocolate Coffee by Paula Deen
(Serves one, non-alcoholic)
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons peppermint syrup
1/2 cup hot brewed coffee
Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish
Fill a mug with all the ingredients except garnishes and stir. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

These are great for stirring in your hot chocolate or coffee. Add to the drinks above!

7. Crate and Barrel Dark Chocolate Peppermint Fondue, $9.95
I've tried the regular dark chocolate, and it is delicious!
